This week was a huge week in the life of the walker family. This week we officially moved to Indiana. This week was crazy, stressful, exciting and tiring. We are so thankful to everyone who helped in any way this week.
Sunday- traveled to crown point with mini van full of stuff. Went to church, drove to apartment and dropped off load and went home. My mom was with us to help with our daughters.
Monday/ Tuesday-at our house in michigan doing last minute packing and some chores. Mom took care of the girls so Kaci and I could get stuff done.
Tuesday night/ wednesday- packed up mini full very full and left for crown point to get some work done. This time I went alone. Sadly, power was out at the apartment when I arrived and could get in due to only having a garage door opener. Lead a bible study wednesday morning at local coffee shop and put in a full days work at bethel. Drove back to Kalamazoo after work.
Thursday- some friends showed up at our house early that morning along with kaci's dad and we packed up the moving truck and the minivan. father in law, Alex and I drove down to CP, unloaded both vehicles. Brandon showed up at the apartment to help unload. We left the minivan in IN and drove the truck home. Dropped the truck of and hopped in my Honda and drove back to crown point without my daughters. Father in law took them for a week.
Friday/Saturday - organized apartment. My mom, kaci and I spent endless hours getting the apartment ready. I did get to sneak away to go golfing with my intern and his dad for a couple of hours. White hawk country club.
That was week two of this crazy summer, but we are officially residents of Indiana.
